A winter dream land.
A land where the tree’s always touch the stars, and the snow is always a beautiful virgin white. An untouched world. The days and the nights blend together, and the softest noises can be heard by the hardest of hearing. A place where you’re never alone. The stars always accompany you. No matter how alone you may be, you can look into the brilliant sky and see thousands and thousands of burning suns looking back down at you, watching over you.
The sound of your feet gently sloshing through the thick snow. The sound of all the wildlife, pristine and untouched. A place where laughter can echo for miles, and the softest cry is wrapped up by the beautiful landscape.
A place I will never get to see. A place I’d love to go, and live my life.
An unreasonable dream. Imagine how different my life would have been had I been born in Finland? Maybe I would have got to live my dream, and play hockey. Maybe I would have met a beautiful Finnish girl and got to have a family. The privilege of raising children in such a beautiful place makes my heart ache. It would have been beautiful.
